Sharper Edges Exhibit Opens November 15

A new exhibit featuring regional women artists opens to the public Thursday, November 15th. Sharper Edges: Women Working on the Edge of Glass features the work of female artists exploring social issues.  Incorporated into glass sculpture, the women express distinct viewpoints on politics, gender biases, stereotypes, and the environment.

Regional exhibiting artists include Beth Lipman of Sheboygan, Stephanie Trenchard of Sturgeon Bay, Deanna Clayton of Door County, Kristin Thielking of Stevens Point, Lisa Koch of Madison, and the grande dame of contemporary glass, Audrey Handler of Verona. Other exhibiting artists include Carmen Lozar, Jennifer Caldwell, Lisa Beth Robinson, and Susan Taylor Glasgow.

Programming

Public opening – Thursday, November 15th, 5-7pm, Artist Beth Lipman will discuss her work.

Public panel discussion – Friday, November 16th at 5pm at the Neenah Public Library
Discussion with select artists including Lisa Koch, Kristin Thielking, Deanna Clayton, and
Audrey Handler.

Member-only and invited guest reception at the museum will follow the panel discussion on Friday.
